Saint Kentigern College is an Independent, Presbyterian school offering a world-class education to girls and boys in Years 7-13 (ages 11-18). The College is located on a large and attractive campus in the suburb of Pakuranga, 16 kilometres from the centre of Auckland. Our students enjoy a park-like setting bordering the waters of the Tamaki Estuary, with extensive playing fields and world class learning facilities.
Established in 1953, the College is now a contemporary, state-of-the-art, educational facility which remains true to its traditional Christian faith and values. Our innovative ‘parallel education’ structure offers the best of both worlds to students during their College years. Boys and girls are taught separately in Middle School (Years 7-10) core curriculum classes, while Senior School (Years 11-13) students work in a co-educational setting. With a well deserved reputation for excellence in our academic, sporting and cultural programmes, we are proud to be recognised as the foremost co-educational independent school in the nation.
Saint Kentigern College opens ‘a world of opportunity’ for the young people who take their educational journey with us.
